Ever heard a s**t tune in the club and thought 'I can do better than that?'

GIRLS. Not enough of us produce electronic music – fact. Together with Radar Radio and the makers of FL Studio we’re hoping to change that.

We hosted our first music production workshop at the Radar Radio studio on Sat March 19th and back by popular demand we'll be hosting the second one on Sat June 4th. The FADER came down to speak to some of the girls who took part about what had stopped them producing until now. You can see their thoughts here.

I’ll be joined by fellow producers Dexplicit, Ikonika and P Jam to give you everything you need to get started – for free.

Ever heard a shit tune in the club and thought “I could do better than that?” WELL YOU CAN. AND NOW’S THE TIME.

Our 4 hour crash courses in the basics of electronic production with one-to-one teaching give you a chance to learn from a range of producers across the musical spectrum, who’ll show you how to get to grips with FL Studio.

Image-Line, the makers of FL Studio are supporting the event, which means you’ll get full access to the latest version for 4 months. For those of you who haven’t heard of FL Studio, it’s the software formerly known as Fruity Loops which is responsible for the birth of grime over a decade ago.

It’s been responsible for a load of bangers, not least from the producers involved in the events.

Jay Z and Kanye – N***** in Paris and Lethal Bizzle – POW (prod by our very own producer mentor Dexplicit)

SO LET’S MAKE A FEW BANGERS YEAH? SPACE IS LIMITED SO HURRY UP AND REGISTER YOUR INTEREST FOR THE SECOND WORKSHOP HERE: emmaproducer@radarradio.com by 8 May 2016.

Nice one.

E.M.M.A. & Ikonika, Dexplicit, P Jam and everyone at Radar Radio

Officially supported by Image-Line, the makers of FL Studio.
